It involves routinely carrying out behaviors that have a significant impact on our wellness (routine check-ups, a balanced diet, exercise, etc.) while avoiding destructive habits (tobacco, drugs, alcohol, etc.). What can you do to increase your physical wellness? They put together the Backpack Block Party at Homewood Church of Christ as well as packing backpacks to donate for the Avondale community!
Wellness means making thoughtful, daily choices towards a healthy and fulfilling life. While in dental school, you may notice changes in your personal well-being and health due to a decrease in exercise, changed eating habits, stress or depression. The month of September is ASDA's Wellness Month! ASDA chapters have planned several wellness-related events during this month at their respective schools. National ASDA will have weekly webinars (on topics like relationship wellness, anxiety, depression, and more), blog posts on wellness, social media posts and contests, and chapter challenges and prizes.
