15th Annual Wide Open Golf Tournament
April 9, 2022


​The ASDA Wide Open is a golf tournament held annually by the University of Alabama School of Dentistry's chapter of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA). The event is in its 15th year. The tournament is open to anyone so if you would like to participate, please sign up and contact us with any questions!

The tournament will be held at the Highlands Golf Course on Saturday, April 9th. Lunch will begin at 12 pm. The shotgun start will begin at 2pm and will consist of a scramble format. There will be prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd ​place teams!

Update as of 3/30/22: The tournament is open again to all students and non-students who would like to golf! Please follow this link if you would like to play in the tournament. T-shirts are no longer available to be included in new registrations. Lunch and 2 free drink tickets will only be provided to those who register by end of the day Sunday April 3. Please pay for your registration by April 8th. 

Dress Code for Tournament Players per Highland Golf: “Shirts with collars and appropriate shorts or pants are required. Soft spiked golf shoes or tennis shoes are mandatory. Tank tops, tee shirts and cut off shorts are not acceptable golf attire. Presentable blue jeans are allowed.”

If you don't want to play golf, we still have a way to for you to come out and have some fun! We will be having a social event following the tournament above the Highlands Golf Course clubhouse from 5:30 - 9 PM with music, food, and drinks. We will also have a TV with the Masters on in the ballroom so that Masters fans can stay up to date. Come out and support ASDA, have a few laughs with your friends, and celebrate all of our golfers!

Golf for non-students - $60
Lunch ONLY - $15
